to put it out there
I’ve been listening to SO much music these past few weeks to find something that is “what i’m looking for” (ish) I’ve decided to put the word out to get other peoples ideas, so PLEASE respond with your suggestions should you have any for me to hear.
I’m looking for an angry song, not super duper metal because you need to be able to dance to it but think thrashy and angry and abusive. If you have a link you’d like to respond with so i can hear, great – if you have a name of a song and the artist I can download it somehow.
Husband and Kevin I’m sure will have some suggestions but all are welcome, and thank you –

theres a harsh song or two on there – most pointedly, ‘Parting Gift’.
‘oh well’ is good too
not big dancy, but you could put some sort of elegant thing together to go with the biting harshness of her words
Or, hey, how about ‘coin operated boy’ by Dresden Dolls. It covers all the bases… the singer is bitter, angry, angsty, but really desirous of the real love thing, she just doesn’t seem to be able to get it.
The songs got a fun quirky rhythm to it.

Sarah McLachlan “Dear God” is very angry, but also very atheist, so I don’t know how you’d feel about that. It starts off really flowly, but towards the end it gets a little harder and very in your face.
Janet Jackson “What About” is also very angry. The verses are very soft, and the chorus is angry and intense. Only problem is, you’re REALLY have to censor it.
