I suffer from short term memory loss therefore I don’t remember why I opened this to update.  So i went and backtracked what I was doing previously then got sidetracked by a comment Kitten put on as a comment on my myspace page and i sat there and pressed a red button then saw that I had this window up and decided to write that I forgot was I was doing. . .

tonight i am memorizing one of my monologues due on monday. tomorrow dinner with dave n kaz saturday, memorize the other one and my song, sunday taking cleveland (jeffrey) to my dadda n terry’s house for some food and chit chat.

I would like to post the following semi-update regarding my princess review 2005:

JUNE:
I went to see Kaza in New York to help her say goodbye to all her new friends and pack and bring home some shoes.  It was bittersweet for me, knowing she was coming home with ME but at the same time I was sad she was leaving New York, I know how much she loves it there.  She will be bi-coastal for sure and live in both places as her life allows (ish), and surely I will too. . .

Inspired by Mandy. . . I bring you The Princess 2005 Review:

JANUARY:
All were waiting patiently for the release of my Winter in New York book (that I am actually almost done writing now. . . ) and I was beginning to work at the Tax company.  I realized I couldn’t move back to la la land in May and contemplated moving at the end of the Summer. I had a few nightmares and decided to share them with everyone here and I wanted badly to begin working out with Bear.  I met Michael Jenkinson who told me to audition for PCPA.

FEBRUARY:
I liked to complain about my weight and not being famous and feared I would never lose weight and I would just die of lonliness and obesity.  Aside from that drama I began to organize the Central Coast Wicked Wagon chartering a bus and taking almost 50 friends to la la land to see Wicked.  This month was very busy with the beginning stages of organizing a large group and working at the Tax company AND stga.

MARCH:
the 6th was my callback date for PCPA (this date will come back in to play shortly here) This month I also drove to la la land to audition for the television show Extremem Fakeover, which we all know I booked and most of you saw me for 2 seconds on a random channel.  I started meeting with Bear and going to the gym when I didn’t workout with him.  I started working out with him weighing in at. . . 227lbs. I believe and wore a size 18/20 dress and was the FATTEST I’d EVER been. I performed my first wedding as an ordained minisiter and forever bonded myself to the wonderful Sgt Jim and Loke Fletcher. Still Tax season. Still Wicked Bizness.. . . March 6th is Cleveland (Jeffrey’s) Birthday. . (wink)

APRIL:
Tax season ended on the 15th and the 4 of us girls that ran the office shared the HUGEST margarita I’d ever seen then I had to STGA and I was a lil typsy.  Brighteyes and Miguel threw a surprise party for me and people from all parts of my life and different places came out for it.  )The only other time I’d been surprised is when Kaza flew out in 2004 for my birthday) then the following week sister and gracee surprised me again with tickets to see Sarah McLachlan in concert and I was introduced to the music of The Perishers.

MAY:
I liked to vent about money problems this month, apparently. the 16th was the day the silly show Xtreme Fakeover aired and I was talking with David and Kaza about moving intogether when they moved back out here to CaliFORNIA.

JUNE:
I tried to contact Brandt Michaels so we could have closure and learn to be cordial to each other and at first he was okay then he wasn’t but I tried and I’m done with that part of my life. Saw Batman Begins with the Smurf, I was accepted to PCPA but indecisive when it came to committing to attend or not.  Relay for life ruled because the Castaway did and I sported Neon Green and Bright Orange as a pirate.

JULY:
I decided to go to PCPA, afterall I made it into the program and got a grant to pay for it.  The Central Coast Wicked Wagon safely made it to la la land and back and I was in green makeup and a hat holding a prop broom.  Elphaba didn’t fly, like she was supposed to, due to technical issues.  I was still working out with Bear and going to the gym and finally seeing results. I was living with David and Kaza.

AUGUST:
I started at PCPA and for the most part I was not enjoying it, however I was cast in the largest production they ever put on.  I was assigned the role (do you see that jayme???!!!) of Babette’s Understudy, and Swing which officially made me the person with the most roles in the cast.  I was considering moving out to Santa Maria to be closer to my 6 day a week schedule for school and rehearsals.

SEPTEMTER:
Partying with Adults can be funner . . . more fun than partying with 18 year olds.  A pajama birthday party happened and I got tossed and it was great.  I was now living in Santa Maria, VERY busy with school and rehearsal and there was also Homo-Coming.  I dressed as Clark Kent with my shirt ripped open revealing a superman symbol (t-shirt, not painted on. . . thanks) and won the crown for homo-coming King.  Apparently I introduced myself to the sound guy named Jeffrey. . .twice. . . drunk. . . no i don’t remember – but he reminded me later when we started dating. . . And I didn’t get to see John Mayer live – and it made me cry (John Mayer Trio)

OCTOBER:
Rehearsal and incorrect overusage of my hip joints caused some joint alignment issues serious inflamation and I couldn’t dance for a week and had to see a chiropractor (but I love going so its cool) so it wouldn’t hurt to walk.  I escaped Santa Maria and hung out with Sir Charlemagne at Mothers Tavern and sang skarieokie, something I hadn’t done for MONTHS and John Mayer turned 28 and I did not go out for Halloween. I performed my second wedding sporting a red vinyl dress marrying Pete and Nahnnah in Shell Beach.

NOVEMBER:
Tech week for Beauty and the Beast was helacious (sp?) and super long but I did some homework as well.  It was a time where Bryn would all of a sudden be standing next to me and moments later I’d be running to the dressing room for my shoes so i could run her track and she could watch the spacing.  We opened B&B on the 12th and it was amazing to see. I flat ironed my hair wore a burgundy shirt that was off the shoulder and a black hippie skirt with knee high boots and took the confidence my clothes brought me, to the after party and flirted with the sound guy. . . Jeffrey (we know him now as Cleveland).  He was wearing a green shirt with a green tie, black pants, black belt and black shoes and I walked by him and purposely ran into him a bit and instead of saying “excuse me” or “oh sorry” I looked at him and said “oh its just you” then smiled and walked away. Flirting with him was fun.  And our first date was 11/26/05.  This month I was also introduced to the music of Matt O’Brien in NY.

DECEMBER:
I went on for Beauty and the Beast as a Napkin many times and once as a cheese grater and a few times as a villager (depending on who I was).  I was kept out of doing a show twice because of a terrible illness that took me at full force and knocked me out for a few weeks it seemed.  the 5th was when Cleveland and I became boyfriend/girlfriend, by the 13th we said I love you.  It was fast it was crazy and I’ve never felt more sure about anything in my life.  We saw santa together on the 17th and were talking about when we meet eachothers parents shortly after.  I bought 2 pairs of jeans one was a 14 one was a 12 and total for the year I’d lost 35 pounds and no idea how many inches I’d lost.

Looks like it wasn’t very exciting.  I liked to complain, we all know that, and I fell in love with a boy that I want to marry – and yes we’ve talked about it.  I need to lose 30 more pounds to be at the desired weight and I really miss the gym.  I’d like to be a size 10 but firmer.  I need more muscle I miss the feeling of being strong.  Hopefully this next semester I actually won’t be cast and I can focus on school work and my body.  If I had to attempt to phrase the year 2005 in one sentence it would be something like this:

I began 2005 with a feeling of doubt and no self confidence, and ended it with joy and love – I guess it really was all worth it.

I’m going to meet his parents tomorrow, we’ll be back 12/30/05.  I STGA 12/31 11a – 6pm if you want to visit, and i OPEN on new years day at 5:30am – 10am if you’re still awake and sobering up in the AG area.  hahahahaha

During the week of 1/1  – 1/7 I hope everyone who needs to meet him, who I want to meet him can.  so please email me or post a comment when you’re available so I can look at my calendar and schedule.  Love you all and hope you had a wonderful camera.

Today I went to the Local Green Apron here in Santa Maria for a beverage and some coffee cake before shopping with my friend Ryan.  I grabbed my beverage and headed to the condiment bar to add 1 splenda and some half and half.  A very old man in  a chair with very thick glasses a red plaid shirt and khakis hiked up to his sternum sat in the chair next to the condiment bar.  His cane in one hand, his drink in the other.  We made eye contact for a brief moment and in that moment we had a brief conversation, it follows:

Him:  You look good in those pants young lady.
Me:  (inner monologue. . . “awkward. . . awkward. . . “) Thanks Gramps (exits store)

I’m on winter break from school til january 9th.  During which I have to read 6 plays,find a childhood story that is not Dr. Suess to read to my voice and speech class,  prepare two contrasting contemporary monolgues, and a song for the auditions for Our Town and Oliver.  I guess I better get to it.

He’s with his parents down south for Christmas and is coming to get me on the 27th to go meet them.  We did this discussion about me driving myself and he thought that was silly to have 2 cars cause then we can’t talk and be with eachother.  Then I was gonna take the train and he said that was too expensive.  He said he was coming to get me and that was the end of it, decision made.  I sat back and smiled and laughed a bit, then I told him how hot it was that he made a decision.  It sounds really funny and maybe dumb but I can’t tell you the times I go back and forth with a guy because he won’t make up his mind – news flash girls don’t want to make the decisions for EVERYTHING ALL THE DAMN TIME.  So I told him that was hot and we laughed.. . . Kaza – read “you’re the stronger woman”  (thank you sister christian lol)

I’m marrying him July 7, 2007 (thus far). Thanks.  No I haven’t told John yet, have to be careful to use the right words – don’t want to break his heart or anything. 

Its like being in love in a movie – but better because its my real life.

Goodnight neverland.  I have to STGA tomorrow, hi hi hi AND I STGA’d thanksgiving, I’ll be STGA on new years eve and OPENING at 5:30am on new years day.  I guess its a good thing I wasn’t planning to party all crazy.  wah wah wah.

SO……..I have a picture of Cleveland in my wallet.  Let it be known NO picture of ANY boy I’m with has EVER been in my wallet.  I have pictures of my family (most important people) and pictures of John (duh!).  Closest I think to carrying photos of boys with me was in a little picture holder thing that looks like its for business cards that kaza gave me a while ago – still have it – but I think at one point a picture of Colin was in there, and at that point we weren’t even dating, so I guess it still doesn’t count.  So there’s that, I carry his picture in my wallet and I have 3 pics of us up in my room.  If I had these pics on a CD or on my computer I would of course post them, but I didn’t think of it when I turned in my 35 mm film today at my local wally world.  Even when they give the option to put it on a CD I didn’t think of it.  Guess I’m still old fashioned when it comes to peekchas.  Its a work in progress and I’m hoping I’ll get one for Christmas – I have been hoping that for almost 3 years by the way so pretty sure it won’t happen.  Not a big deal – the camera will make itself known to me and be mine when the time is right – like other things in my life.

I promise once Beauty and the Beast is over I’ll have a party or something at one of your houses ( cause mine’s too small and its in santa maria. . . )and we’ll do the Cleveland intro.

15 shopping days – and kaza it puked xmas here in santa maria day after thanksgiving, hopefully we’ll find time for you to come and see it before it goes away.  Now the rest of you don’t get upset – she’s here everyday and she is one person, inviting everyone over means I would have to clean, prepare food (have sister prepare food, she’s better at it than me) and its a big committment of time, something I dont’ have right now – so no one get jealous and kaza come see the house.

I have a critical paper to write for theatre history, an essay to write for Professionalism “what is the most important virtue of a porfessional actor? Why?  How does this ethic practically effect one’s professinoal conduct?  Assert and Support” is what the assignment says.

I purchased Emmet Otter’s jugband christmas today at my local wally world – its the family favorite and its finally on DVD so I have one and I’m giving one to my mom before christmas – I can’t make her wait, she has to watch it before Christmas.

I bought 2 pairs of pants today, one is a 14Long, one is a 12Long – someone be happy for me cause in march I was an 18/20 and hating life.  Now at least I feel human, and kaza I’ve done SO good on the fat jokes – lack there of, you’d be proud.  I have a different kind of confidence lately, even before Cleveland, but of course that counts too because he makes me feel like i’m the only person in the world that matters to him.  (sigh)….OH! gotta get to the theatre.  Everyone’s back from being sick, don’t think I’ll go on anymore for the run but it was definately fun and I have a pressing want to dye my hair that green color in the picture i posted earlier, it just screams fun!

Semester is done at the end of next week, then its just the show til 12/22/05 and stga through the break.  I’m not going to Utah (sad face) husband can’t get it off work, and I was going to visit Ro in NY but I don’t think I can do that anymore either so I’ll be around here for X-mas and New Years ladies and gents. . . can we say “thank you adult time?” anyone?
